ED is an abbreviation for a common physical condition among middle age men known as Erectile Dysfunction. ED can be caused by many factors physical as well as emotional and hormonal. ED is classified as the inability of a man to make his penis become erect, or when a man is not able to sustain an erection long enough to consummate a sexual encounter. The effects of ED can be detrimental to a mans self esteem as well as his partners. When a man is not able to function properly during sexual activity it can give his partner feelings of un interest and make a woman feel un desired. Equally and just as impotently the inability for a man to become aroused may cause depression and panic which can spiral out of control.
